Tao Xingzhi (1891-1946), famous democratic revolutionist,
educator in modern times. He had made many reforms on
education. He proposed to change "teaching method"
into "teaching and learning method" and believed
that the latter could reflect the essence of education
much more and much scientifically. In his early ages,
he was engaged in the reform of education system, and
protested the culture invasion of imperialist. He also
actively advocated civilian education and living education,
and cultivated many revolutionary talents. |
